Q: What is Palmer Advantage Platinum?
A: Platinum is an upgrade Membership category created exclusively for private club Members of Century Golf Partners owned or managed private clubs. Platinum benefits include all the benefits of Palmer Privilege as well as a host of “Unique Member Benefits” created to complement our Members' lifestyle and their home club Membership value. Platinum will provide our Members with Unique Member Benefits outside the walls of their club. Q: How much does Platinum cost? A: $10 per Membership, per month Q: Why is it so inexpensive? A: We are introducing Platinum to our Members as a complement to the value you already receive from your home club and consequently we wish to make this affordable for all our private club Members. Q: When will the $10 monthly dues begin? A: All Members who enroll before November 30 will see the $10 on their December statement. Members who enroll in December will see the $10 on their January statement. Q: How do Members sign up? A: Members can enroll by contacting your home club’s Membership (or accounting) office or by signing up online through your home club’s website. Q: Are Members required to upgrade to Platinum? A: No. This is a completely optional upgrade opportunity for our Members. Q: Can Members choose not to upgrade during the enrollment campaign but upgrade later? A: Yes. However, existing Members who do not upgrade during the enrollment campaign will not receive the PGA National Platinum Certificate, and you will have to pay a $500 initiation fee (waived during the enrollment campaign). Monthly dues for Platinum benefits will be $20 per Member unless the Member enrolls during the enrollment campaign. The $500 is an initiation fee is not a deposit and it is not refundable. Q: Can Members cancel Platinum at any time? A: Yes. Members simply inform their home club in writing if they wish to terminate their Platinum Membership and the monthly charge will be removed from their next Member statement. No prorated refunds are available. Q: If a Member upgrades to Platinum does the spouse also have Platinum privileges? A: Yes. Both the Member and spouse will receive Platinum Member Cards Q: If a Member upgrades to Platinum and later relocates to another Palmer Privilege Club, will Platinum benefits transfer with him/her? A: Yes, as long as the Member maintains their monthly Platinum dues. Q: Are Platinum benefits transferable? A: No. When a club Membership is transferred the incoming Member would be considered a new Member. Q: How do Platinum Members make reservations and tee times? A: Platinum Advantage Members have access to Palmer Advantage Concierge 7 days a week by calling 866-930-8770. Palmer Concierge is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on holidays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (all times are Eastern Time Zone). Q: Can Platinum Members just show up at the participating clubs and properties without making a reservation through Palmer Advantage Concierge? A: No. All reservation requests must be made through Palmer Advantage Concierge. The Concierge will ensure eligible Member benefits and privileges are extended and properly facilitated. Q: Are Platinum Members allowed to bring guests to play golf? A: Yes. Generally Platinum Members may bring up to three guests, space available. Your Palmer Advantage Concierge will confirm availability with each participating club or property and confirm with you. |
